En route to Las Palmas

Familiar constellations of the Northern hemisphere are appearing, tropical heat is subsiding, and the hands of ship's clock have already been turned three times. The lag between ship's time and Kaliningrad time zone is only 2 hours.

Favourable wind allows the deck crew and cadets to take a break and repair the spars and rigging, do up some wooden elements of the ship. Blocks, pin rails and treenails are chipped and surfaced with lacquer. This procedure gives a better outer look to wooden parts and also protects them from adverse weather conditions.
