Kruzenshtern's departure from Buenos Aires

The Kruzenshtern is finishing her stay in Buenos Aires. She is about to start a long passage to Las Palmas.
On March 3, on the final day of her stay in the port of Buenos Aires, the ship was welcoming visitors. More than 1,500 people were able to walk along the deck of the Kruzenshtern, look over the rigging, talk to the cadets and take photos. The vessel was visited even by Russian tourists.

Officials also came on board. In particular, there came a representative of Brownian National Institute. In the evening Mst Mikhail Eremchenko was invited to the House of Russian culture in Buenos Aires. He told the audience about the ship's routine, her particulars and told some interesting stories. Another guest of honor was Metropolitan Ignatius of Argentina and South America, who held a farewell prayer for the crew on the deck.

The day before, a concert was held on the deck for the cadets and crew.
Fresh water and provisions were replenished before the 28-day passage to the port of Las Palmas.
