On the way to South Africa

The next port of Pallada's call is Cape Town, located on the Atlantic coast of the Republic of South Africa.

According to the Master's reports, ship's routine is maintained. The shipboys who recently joined the vessel have already completed a ten-day period of theoretical and practical training, as a result they passed the tests on sailing equipment, rigging and safety of working aloft. The cadets gave them bits of advice.

"The ship is under sail. She is optimizing her route to avoid a fairly deep cyclone in the Atlantic. The average speed is 10.5 knots", says the Master.

Pallada is scheduled to call at Cape Town (South Africa) on March 15, 2020.
