Birthday party

On February 29, 2020 a birthday party was arranged on the Sedov to congratulate February celebrants and to mark the last day of winter.

A tea party was made in cadet's messroom. The officers wished their cadets good health and happiness in life. A big Napoleon cake was presented to the birthday boys and girls by ship's Chef Alexander Dovgopolyy.

Such events help the cadets and crew to cope with the difficulties of a long voyage. After the regatta, heavy rain and ocean swell everyone enjoys the calm ocean. Nonetheless, works on board never stop. Guys check and repair rigging, paint mast and yards.

Cadets keep watches on the bridge, in radio room, engine room and get a better idea of future profession. Lectures on ship stability, propulsion, ship's gears also go on. After the lectures our cadets have to take exams or tests.
